Samy Mwamba is an Edu-tech entrepreneur, who is making a significant impact in Africa with his company ‘ITOT Africa’. He is co-founder and CEO of ITOT Africa, founded in the year 2017, It is a DRC-based startup providing customized digital content, programming, coding, training, and e-learning to businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurs in Africa and the United States.
Samy Mwamba- Early Life
Samy Mwamba is a degree of Software Engineering from the Ecole Superieure d’informatique Salama. At 12, Samy discovered that he had some special talent in music and writing. He also won a cash prize for the song he had written and sung for an NGO and shows. For the first time, he touched a computer in a cybercafe and was fascinated by the computer and the internet. With the money he won for songs, he bought his first computer and implemented all his learned knowledge about Microsoft Office and Photoshop. Later, during his degree life, he discovered computer programming.
Sparkle of Entrepreneurship
Samy in his college days by browsing dozens of books and tutorials developed a software tray 2, he was also able to sell it and that is when he decided to make a living through software. Later some of the students required him to develop some software, which was sold to some businesses and individuals. Due to some failures, they separated, and Samy started providing services to individuals and freelance. Thus, during his graduation life, he was passionate about software development and aspired to be an entrepreneur.
In the year 2017, Samy Mwamba founded ITOT Africa which is a community of the most talented young computer scientists in Lubumbashi, students, students and professionals. It is the place to share knowledge through training conferences, and working. Samy started the company out of pure love and passion without doing any market research which is now providing digital solutions and IT services for businesses in Africa.
Samy is a co-founder and Vice Charman of the board of directors of Perfection Digital City founded in the year 2022 which provides opportunities for the development of Greater Katanga through new technologies and entrepreneurship. He also worked as a Trainer at OKADEMY to share his knowledge with everyone and was a part-time lecturer at EcoPo-Lubumbashi. Apart from being a passionate entrepreneur, Samy is a speaker and also has a wired as a consultant for different firms.
About ITOT Africa
ITOT Africa is an IT service provider and training company founded in the year 2017 by Samy Mwamba. The mission of ITOT Africa is to create and bring back jobs in Africa through digital solutions and new skills. The main objective is to enable unemployed or remote people to employment and create jobs. It offers on-demand training to support businesses in digital transformation, and trains and recruits talent for achieving business goals. It provides different services including Web development, Mobile development, digital marketing, cybersecurity, ERP, and training. The training programs have courses including women and digital, e-commerce, AWS re/start, and brain restaurants.
Samy is a man with greater ambitions and dreams. He wants to create a digital solution as big as Spotify or Paypal and is a dram of DRC. Samy says that he is addressing the problem of the lack of developers and IT security managers in Africa He was inspired by Mark Zuckerberg and other people for the effective management of the business model.

Samy sees entrepreneurship as a dangerously good adventure with lots of risks and opportunities to take.
