In this article, we discuss one such inspiring entrepreneur Gabriel Eze – co-founder and CEO of Rural Farmers Hub. Gabriel Eze – Co-founder and CEO

Gabriel Eze founded Rural Farmers Hub (RFH) along with his co-founder Olusegun Adegun in the year 2018. Both of them came from a farming background and were inspired to start RFH after witnessing persistently low yields and a lack of agricultural support services in their home villages.

Educational Background

Gabriel Eze holds a first-level master’s in open Innovation and Youth Entrepreneurship in Meditaraninan Agri-Food Sector from Universita degli Studi di Bari. He is a Bachelor of Engineering graduate in the stream of Mechanical Engineering obtained from the Federal University of Technology Owerri Nigeria and a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management General from the National Open University of Nigeria.

Gabriel Eze’s Journey – from Inter to Founder 

Gabriel Eze has vast years of experience in various domains including design, business development, and entrepreneurship. He started his career journey as an intern Graphic Designer at Internet Expert Nigeria and worked as a Designer at GRIT Systems Engineering for a year. Later, he co-founded CashMadam Technologies, an IT Services, and IT consulting company focused on growing small businesses in Africa. He was a Guest Speaker at Hult International Business School and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas Business School. For a few years, Gabriel worked as a Business Advisor at House Africa and a Business Development Consultant at Planetek Italia. He was a Council member Of GLC and a Startup mentor for Ototu Square. Gabriel has held the responsible CEO role at Touchabl Pictures for around 5years. 

Later with a passion for resolving the problem of the agriculture industry Gabriel founded Rural Farmers Hub. he has played multiple roles in RFH and has made major contributions to its success. He initially worked as a CTO, later COO, then CFO, and held the role of Innovation Manager. Now Gabriel Eze is leading the company in front as a CEO of RFH. 

Awards and Recognitions

Gabriel Eze is honored with multiple awards for his immense work and contribution to the agricultural industry. Gabriel was 2nd runner-up in Startup Friday Uyo issued by the Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship where he represented Touchabl Pictures. Winner of Startup Weekend Umuahia organized by Techstars/Global Startup Weekend and winner of Truppr Design Challenge 2016 Award associated with GRIT Syatem Engineering for redesigning the Truppr.com web platform. Gabriel led a team MyPaymart and won the maiden edition of Startup Weekend in Abia state.
