After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from Bahir Dar University, he spent more than 15 years working across the textile and garment value chain, progressing from production supervision to managerial roles. The experience provided him with a deep understanding of production planning, quality management, export operations, and manufacturing leadership, while also offering valuable insight into both the strengths of Ethiopia’s textile sector and the challenges limiting its full potential.
