About Dominique Pitot de la Beaujardiere

Dominique Pitot de la Beaujardiere is the founder and CEO of Inoxico. He aims to connect the world’s toughest entrepreneurs with the growing market and helps them to iterate rapidly to find the niche that they can grow into and dominate. 

Dominique Pitot completed his early education at Mariturg College and holds a degree in BSc Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cape Town where he was also a part of the Student Representatives Council. Pitot completed his Master of Science in Financial Economics, Corporate Finance, Econometrics, Asset Pricing, microeconomics, and Macro Economics from Said Business School, University of Oxford. He also attained an MSc in Economics, Social History, and Economic History from the University of Oxford. Pitot has also expertized in skills like software development, product stationery, innovation management, and many more that add high value to business growth.

Pitot’s Journey of Highs and Lows

Dominique Pitot possessed leadership qualities in his student life, he was a transformation manager for a student council and represented the interests of students at all levels of the university. He was responsible for projects in gender equality, HIV/AIDS, and racial and cultural transformation. He was also a Youth Program Manager at Habitat for Humanity International and was responsible for planning and managing events in social work. 

Pitot worked as a Process Control Engineer and later as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Anglo-American, for the graduate development program. Later at Anglo-America, in Brasilien he was appointed as a summer trainee, he gained experience in various areas from the laboratory to the control room operations to HR and environmental management. He also worked as a Supply Chain Manager and Global Community Manager at Anglo-American and attained skills in international business development.

Later, Pitot worked as Regional Sales Manager for Africa at Siemens Industry and was responsible for managing the sales and marketing of the company by mining portfolios of customers across the globe. In ITC Global, Pitot worked as an Account Executive, he contributed to sales and business development of satellite network solutions to the mining industry in Africa.

Dominique Pitot, gaining different skills and experience in different areas of business decided to start his own company. In the year, 2012 he founded Mining Atlas, an online platform that provides business intelligence and marketing tools to companies in the Mining Industry. Being an innovative founder and managing director he contributed to building the latest web platform and in growing this services to over 7000 users per month.

In the year 2009, Pitot along with his co-founder André Stürmer founded “Inoxico” and currently serves as the CEO of the Johannesburg. Initially, Pitot was a Chief Operating Officer of Inoxico and ensured to delivery of world-class solutions to a broad array of clients and getting the best out of our employees and software platforms. Later he was an Executive Head of Inoxico’s Core practice group with the vision to develop Africa’s leading commercial data and research platform to deliver solutions to credit, procurement, and risk professionals who are looking to help their organizations excel in Africa. He is now also a board member and is leading a company in overall growth and development.

Dominique Pitot, in the year 2021 founded ‘Trade Shield’, which harnesses AI to automate the continuous management of over 90% of your credit limits, with profitability to help your business grow sustainably. He was a CEO and is now a Board Member of Trade Shield and is responsible for building a sustainable global business. Later in the year 2023, Pitot with the vision to embed tools for B2B Businesses founded “JoyForge Labs”. It has three key products Hyrax, Oxpecker, and Jacana which help businesses connect customers and increase profitability.
